Phone printing: paper size, two-sided, and page layout
Mobile print options are usually shorter than the ones on a computer. Check the few settings you can see before changing the printer setup.
1. Check the paper size
Make sure the mobile print screen shows the same size that is loaded in the printer, such as Letter or A4.
2. If you want two-sided printing
Look for Two-sided, Double-sided, or a similar option. It may appear only when the printer and the app support it.
If the option is missing, check whether the exact printer model supports automatic two-sided printing before installing another app.
3. If part of the page is cut off
Look at the print preview. If it already looks too large or cut off, check the paper size, orientation, or fit/scale option if the app provides one.
4. If the printer asks for the wrong tray
Check the paper size and type on the printer itself. On printers with several trays, the printer may be expecting a different size or type than the one you loaded.
5. Try one simple page
After changing one setting, print one page and stop if it works. Do not change several settings at once.
